From May 24 to 26, 2016, the global photovoltaic event SNEC 2016 opened grandly in Shanghai. Sungrow brought its iSolar smart sunlight solutions and a full range of inverters to a splendid appearance, and held the "Smart Sunshine Helps You Sail Far - Sungrow 2016 New Product Launch Conference" on the first day of the event, launching five new products to the world. With nearly 20 years of strong technical advantages and application accumulation, Sungrow's new products have set many records.
As the star product released this time, SG1500HV is the 1500V inverter with the highest single-machine power in the industry. At the same time, the SG3000HV-MV box-type medium-voltage inverter with integrated medium-voltage system was launched, with the maximum efficiency exceeding 99%. This is another major breakthrough in the 1500V technology field after the efficiency of Sungrow's inverters exceeded 99%. At the press conference, TÜV Rheinland, a global authoritative testing organization, awarded Sungrow the "1500V Strong Efficiency Award" certificate.
The SG1500HV inverter released by Sungrow has a rated power of 1.5MW and a maximum DC input voltage of 1500V. As a high-voltage system, it can connect more components in series to reduce the overall BOS cost, while reducing the line loss on the AC and DC sides, integrating SVG functions, and reducing system costs; it adopts the latest three-level technology and the latest generation of high-efficiency and high-temperature resistant IGBTs, with a maximum efficiency of over 99%; it has an independent patented PID prevention and repair function to reduce power generation losses and project risks; it has comprehensive dynamic grid support functions to create smart and friendly clean electricity. The SG3000HV-MV box-type medium-voltage inverter consists of two SG1500HVs in parallel, an integrated medium-voltage system, and a container-type design. It integrates "inverter" and "transformer" into one, which solves many problems such as the current non-standard transformer access, land shortage, tight construction period, and difficult later maintenance.
New products released at the same time also include the SG80KTL-M, a new benchmark for string inverters. With a power of 80kW, it is currently the most powerful string inverter in the industry with a maximum efficiency of over 99%; the box-type energy storage system PowCube 550, which perfectly solves the problem of power generation restrictions, has MPPT function, supports battery floating charge, and has an efficiency of up to 99%; and the household photovoltaic energy storage system PowCube 4.5, which can greatly increase the self-generation and self-use rate. The system integrates off-grid functions to ensure emergency power supply to households when off-grid around the clock.
After Sungrow's string inverters and centralized inverters achieved efficiencies exceeding 99%, it has set a new industry benchmark and created multiple records. The efficiency of its 1500V products has exceeded 99%, once again refreshing the four benchmarks of "higher efficiency, greater power, higher density, and higher integration", demonstrating Sungrow's strong R&D, innovation, and industrialization capabilities.
With its top technology strength and world-leading product quality in the field of photovoltaic inverters, Sungrow received the "1500V Strongest Efficiency Award" certificate issued by TÜV Rheinland at the press conference.
