From March 10 to 12, 2016, our chairman Huang Haoyu and deputy general manager Wu Zhenyu went to Shenzhen and were invited to attend the "Second China Supercapacitor Annual Conference and Supercapacitor Industry and Application Seminar" guided by the Electronic Information Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Science and Technology Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and the Second Industrial Standards Department of the National Standardization Administration, sponsored by the Supercapacitor Standard Working Group of the China Electric Standardization Association, the China Electronics Technology Standardization Research Institute, and the China Electronics Industry Standardization Technical Association, and hosted by Shenzhen Jinzhao Times Co., Ltd. Our deputy general manager Wu Zhenyu gave a special speech on the application of supercapacitors in the field of photovoltaic street lights at the meeting.
This annual meeting brought together more than 240 guests from top experts, top domestic universities, representative domestic enterprises and well-known foreign enterprises from all over the country. Relevant leaders from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the National Standards Committee and the Shenzhen local government attended the meeting and delivered speeches. The conference was hosted by Gao Bo, deputy secretary-general of the Supercapacitor Standard Working Group of the China Electronic Standardization Association, and Liu Zhihong, secretary-general of the China Electronics Industry Standardization Association, delivered a welcome speech on behalf of the organizer.
At the meeting, Wu Zhenyu, deputy general manager of our company, gave a special speech on "Application of supercapacitors in photovoltaic street lamps". This speech comprehensively analyzed the application advantages of supercapacitors in the photovoltaic industry from the current status of environmental pollution, solar energy utilization, the development status of traditional photovoltaic street lamps and photovoltaic energy storage.
In the past few years, the photovoltaic industry once ushered in the spring of the industry with the advantages of energy conservation and environmental protection. However, as the use process continued to expose its related supporting technologies, such as the short life of energy storage batteries, pollution of land and groundwater, and the inability to charge on rainy days, the development of the industry has been seriously restricted, resulting in a rapid decline in the photovoltaic industry in recent years. The "all-weather photovoltaic road lighting system" developed by our company uses energy-type supercapacitors as energy storage components for the first time, subverting the original energy storage technology and solving the previous problems of short life of photovoltaic street lights and inability to charge on rainy days. It was truly tested in Hunan in November last year during more than 15 consecutive rainy days. It is a successful innovative attempt of supercapacitors in the field of photovoltaic energy storage, and a new milestone for supercapacitors to penetrate into distributed photovoltaic power generation, photovoltaic power stations, photovoltaic charging piles and other photovoltaic energy storage fields in the future.
The participants spoke highly of our innovative products and affirmed that the use of supercapacitors in photovoltaic streetlights has opened a new chapter in the field of photovoltaic energy storage for supercapacitors. With the support of national policies, it will surely bring prosperity to the field of energy storage for supercapacitors, and will also drive the development of the photovoltaic industry. After the speech, many related companies communicated with our company and gave high praise. Our company also hopes to cooperate with various companies to promote the common progress of the photovoltaic industry and the supercapacitor industry.
