China Energy Storage Network News: At the 4th Session of the 12th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, energy issues became one of the focuses of attention. In the joint proposal submitted by the CPPCC members living in Tianjin, many suggestions were made on building a global energy internet.
Possess the foundation for leading the advancement
The members said that the Global Energy Internet is a strong smart grid with UHV power grid as the backbone grid (channel) and global interconnection. It is the basic platform for the large-scale development, allocation and utilization of clean energy on a global scale. To build the Global Energy Internet is to connect the power grids of various continents with time zone differences and seasonal differences through the UHV power grid, and to transport Arctic wind energy, equatorial light energy and clean energy distributed around the world to every corner of the world. The concept of the Global Energy Internet is highly consistent with the "Belt and Road" strategy, and will provide strong support for the "Belt and Road" in terms of interconnection, energy security, economic and trade exchanges, etc. The implementation of the "Belt and Road" strategy will give the Global Energy Internet national strength. After more than 10 years of development, my country has achieved "China's creation" and "China's leadership" in the fields of UHV and smart grids. In terms of clean energy development and utilization, it has the world's largest clean energy installed capacity power grid, and is fully equipped with the conditions and foundation to lead the promotion of the Global Energy Internet.
Do a good job in top-level design and practical accumulation
The members suggested that, first, the implementation opinions on building a global energy internet should be formulated and issued at the national level to make a good top-level design. The global energy internet should be included in the top-level design of the national "Belt and Road" strategy as an important component, and the implementation opinions on building a global energy internet should be issued to guide the development plan of the energy internet. Strengthen support and guidance for domestic leading enterprises, support the output of technical standards and management standards to become "world standards", and seize the commanding heights of world energy development. Accelerate the research and development and manufacturing of UHV equipment series products, ensure the formation of a batch of "Chinese creations", and promote high-end manufacturing to go global. Second, further accelerate the construction of domestic energy internet and do a good job in practical accumulation. Incorporate the development of UHV into the national "13th Five-Year Plan" energy and power planning, further increase the efforts to promote construction across the country, and accelerate energy interconnection and optimize configuration. Coordinate the development of power grids at all levels, especially the unified deployment of smart grid construction. Carry out research on policies related to electric energy substitution, introduce supporting policies such as environmental protection, subsidies, and prices, and promote the application of electric boilers, electric heating, port shore power, etc. in the field of terminal energy consumption to reduce dependence on fossil energy. Third, it is recommended to create "three demonstrations" in Tianjin to promote the implementation of national strategies. Megacities have inherent advantages in hosting the global energy internet. It is recommended to use the power grid of megacities as an important hub to support the implementation of the global energy internet. In Tianjin, a megacity with an advantageous location, good foundation and rapid development, we should create a demonstration for promoting the concept of the global energy internet, a demonstration for the research and development, manufacturing and export of equipment based on the global energy internet, and a demonstration for the multi-level consumption of clean energy.
