Lanzhou Power Supply Company recently held a preliminary seminar on the construction of electric vehicle charging and battery swap stations in Lanzhou City and Lanzhou New District. The company plans to build four passenger site battery swap stations and two electric vehicle charging stations in Lanzhou New District and Lanzhou City bus hubs, railway stations and other locations next year.
The reporter learned that unlike the direct plug-in charging piles at electric vehicle charging stations, after the electric vehicle enters the battery swap station, the robot arm will automatically take out the battery and put it into the charging cabinet, and replace the new battery. The whole process only takes a few minutes, which not only saves time, but also allows for better maintenance and management of the battery. This also means that if citizens buy electric vehicles, they can drive them on the road in Lanzhou city.
