Kyocera, a Japanese company that has long been committed to developing the use of solar cells, has promoted its environmental protection concept to Germany. In a parking lot in Germany, Kyocera's high-efficiency solar cells have begun to charge electric cars and electric bicycles for free.

Kyocera installed a solar power generation system consisting of 248 solar cell modules above a small and exquisite parking lot in southern Germany. After a "long-term continuity test", the professional company gave a satisfactory answer. The German solar installation company that uses Kyocera solar cells also said: "The high quality of Kyocera products deeply attracted us."

At present, electric cars and electric bicycles are popular in the market as convenient and environmentally friendly means of transportation. With the increasing popularity of various electric cars, the demand for charging parking lots is also increasing. Charging parking lots equipped with solar cells are both economical and environmentally friendly.

Kyocera has spared no effort in researching and developing new uses for solar cells. For example, the solar cells installed on the roof of a parking lot in San Diego, the United States, generate electricity and provide shade. The "solar bicycle parking lot" sold in Japan charges electric bicycles. In addition, the multifunctional "solar awning" developed jointly with Sekisui Jushi Co., Ltd. is installed at bus stops and street squares to provide shade and shelter from rain.

The solar power generation system installed on the roof of the German charging parking lot is another new application of Kyocera.
