Solar energy is converted into electricity through solar panels. However, the electricity converted by solar panels is direct current. To truly convert it into alternating current that can be used in most situations, a special device is indispensable - inverter. For many years, this technology has been monopolized by foreign companies. Recently, Shanghai Zhuiri Electric Company has successfully developed this equipment that is crucial to the solar photovoltaic industry - a new generation of photovoltaic inverters through independent innovation, and its household products have been put into practical use.
Chen Jianguo, president of Zhuiri Electric, said that when Zhuiri Electric entered the new energy sector, it chose photovoltaic inverters instead of the R&D and production of photovoltaic materials such as polysilicon, which were very popular in China in the past few years. This was not only because it saw that the development of my country's photovoltaic industry must master the core technology of "inversion", which is still monopolized by foreign companies, but also because the active filtering technology and inverter technology owned by Zhuiri Electric are similar in principle and have certain technical accumulation. In order to develop photovoltaic inverters faster and better, Zhuiri Electric also cooperated with Huazhong University of Science and Technology, which is at the forefront of research in this field in China.
After numerous tests, Zhuiri Electric finally developed a photovoltaic inverter. Tests show that this inverter can not only convert DC into AC, but also has the function of automatic voltage stabilization, thereby improving the quality of power supply. Compared with similar international products, this product has many advantages, such as high conversion efficiency, wide tracking voltage range, low harmonic distortion rate of output current, high intelligence, high reliability, and high cost performance.
Chen Jianguo told reporters that Zhuiri Electric has started construction of a photovoltaic system inverter technology research and development base in Xiangfan, Hubei. Its main buildings are designed and constructed using high-tech technologies such as solar photovoltaic technology, solar thermal technology, and new energy-saving and environmentally friendly materials.
