By comparing CCD imaging and FPD imaging methods with various parameters in the table below, it can be seen that CCD imaging has a higher effective utilization rate of X-rays than FPD imaging, and can avoid fatal damage to components caused by long-term X-ray radiation. At the same time, the requirements for temperature, transportation, cost, maintenance, etc. are relatively low, and the signal-to-noise ratio is better than FPD imaging. Therefore, the author believes that CCD imaging is more suitable for X-ray imaging systems such as CR/DR.
