「Cortex A72 dual-core processor for industrial applications」


MYC-J1028X core board and development board use NXP LS1028A processor, dual-core Cortex™-A72 CPU, 1.5GHz main frequency, with high performance, high computing power and other characteristics, meeting the performance requirements of edge computing and big data processing applications. The Layerscape LS1028A application processor includes Ethernet switches and Ethernet controllers that support time-sensitive networks (TSN), which are aimed at the industrial and automotive industries and can support converged IT and OT networks; in addition, two powerful 64-bit Arm®v8 cores support real-time processing of industrial control and virtual machines for edge computing in the Internet of Things. Built-in GPU and LCD controller enable human-machine interface (HMI) systems to support a new generation of interfaces.

The MYC-J1028X core board adopts a high-density and high-speed circuit board design. It integrates LS1028A processor, DDR4, eMMC, Flex-SPI, EEPROM, Temp Sensor and other circuits on a board with a size of 82mmx45mm. It uses a 12-layer PCB board immersion gold process and has reliable quality.

The MYC-J1028X core board adopts the gold finger connection method, which can save the cost of 3 connectors while ensuring 314PIN, and minimize the overall material cost while providing highly reliable connection.
