Save an existing project as another project in STVD

After a project template is completed, the adjusted project will be saved as another project, and then the corresponding modifications can be made, which can avoid the complicated process of creating a new project. This article records the above process. 


1. In the existing project, File-Save Workspace AS

2. You will find that the Workspace is already another project, but the project name is still the old project, as shown below

3. In the cosmic path, copy the old project's led.stp file and rename it to Templates.stp

4. Open the Templates.stp file with Notepad, find and replace all the LED characters

5. In the project directory tree, remove the old Project

6. After removing the old Project, in the Project menu, Inset a Project

7. Select the Templates.stp file you just modified

8. The modified project tree is as follows.
