This article introduces the main features, block diagram and system block diagram of the HT71D02/HT71D04 and the application circuit. The HT71D0x of Holtek is a power line data transceiver. The HT71D02 has a built-in 3.3V regulator output, and the HT71D04 has a built-in 5.0V regulator output. The high voltage input voltage of the whole series can reach 30V. Through the built-in data transmission modulation interface, the high voltage transmission online data can be demodulated and converted into 3.3V or 5V signals for the subsystem MCU, and the subsystem MCU signal can also be modulated and converted into high voltage and transmitted back to the main system via the transmission line. It is suitable for networked system products such as smoke detectors and water meters.

HT71D02/HT71D04主要特性:

_ Complete Data Transmission on Power Line functions

_ High Maximum Input Voltage: 30V

_ Integrated Low Dropout Voltage Regulator

_ Integrated Voltage Detector for Power Supply Monitoring

_ Open drain NMOS drivers for flexible interfacing

_ Power and Reset Protection Features

_ 8-pin SOP package type

_ Minimal external component requirements
