With the arrival of summer, how to configure a suitable UPS power supply for our air-conditioning room can be said to be a problem that we are very concerned about. Because only a suitable UPS power supply can ensure the normal operation of our room. Inappropriate room air conditioning capacity can cause cooling problems, and incorrect or improper placement of the air conditioner may also affect the cooling effect of the air conditioner. The air conditioner has to deal with two types of heat, one is visible heat, which is the heat we can feel, usually the heat emitted by our computers, and the other is implicit heat, which is usually generated by water evaporation. Dealing with water and humidity requires more implicit capacity of the air conditioner, which needs to be deducted from the visible capacity.
The computer room air conditioning system using refrigeration compressors can be realized through multi-step design. If the air conditioning capacity is too small, it cannot be effectively cooled, but it cannot be too large, too much will cause over-cooling. Although many computer room air conditioners can adjust the load range, some cannot do so. If we know the power load of the data center, we can choose a suitable capacity with a margin of no more than 20%. At the same time, if the capacity needs to be increased, it may need to be increased by 50% for water cooling or multi-step design, but note that there are too many different capacities to choose from, and more information should be known to help users choose the appropriate capacity.
