The emergence of LED electronic display screens not only brings great convenience to our lives, but also adds color to the city. With the continuous improvement of LED display technology, the design of LED display screens has become more artistic and aesthetic. LED display screens in various shapes such as "wave-shaped" and "spherical" have appeared. The spherical LED display screen is a newly developed LED display screen product in recent years that is fashionable, beautiful, and highly flexible. It is different from the process and technology of ordinary LED display screens.
There are two types of spherical LED display screens: the first type is a full spherical LED display screen. Generally, such a ball is relatively small, with a diameter of about 2 meters, and can be viewed as a whole from a close distance; the second type is a hemispherical LED display screen. Generally, such a ball is relatively large and needs to be viewed from a distance.
There are roughly the following ways to make a spherical LED display:
1. For outdoor spherical LED display screens with a larger diameter, a single pixel tube method can be used. Cut the ball according to the latitude, and place a row of LED pixel tubes at each latitude.
2. For indoor spherical LED display screens with smaller diameters, you can use surface-mount three-in-one LED lights and use flexible PCB boards to make point-by-point controllable light strips. Then the light strips surround the sphere according to the latitude, just like the first form.
3. For indoor screens, special LED unit boards can also be designed according to the dot pitch. Special-shaped unit boards can be designed to be spliced in triangles or hexagons (just like making a football, which is made up of multiple hexagons). The models of indoor LED spherical screens include: P4, P5, P6, P10 and other models to choose from.
