  Murata Manufacturing has developed an electric field combined power transmission system that can supply power wirelessly . This system allows devices to be charged simply by placing them on a charger, without the need for power cords, etc. This system is highly efficient and has a high degree of freedom in positioning, making it a very convenient system.

  

Recently, with the popularization of mobile devices, wireless power transmission systems are being developed. The electromagnetic induction method, which has a lot of development cases, has the problem that charging cannot be performed if the charging position is slightly deviated. Our company adopted the technology of TMMS, which has electric field combined wireless power transmission technology, and jointly developed a wireless power transmission system with TMMS. This method allows charging without paying attention to the charging position.

  

The electric field coupling method is a method of transmitting energy by setting electrodes on the power transmission side and the power reception side, and using the electric field generated between the electrodes. Since capacitance is generated between the electrodes, it is also called the capacitive coupling method.

  

By combining our circuit design technology with TMMS's power transmission technology and further carefully designing the electrode structure, we have achieved wireless power transmission with high positional freedom and high efficiency.
