In the past half month, faced with the severe situation that my country's photovoltaic and other new energy industries have encountered trade barriers in major European and American markets, the National Energy Administration and other ministries and commissions have intensively introduced a number of policies to support photovoltaic, wind power and other new energy enterprises.

Starting tomorrow (November 1), the State Grid will provide free services for distributed photovoltaic power generation projects within the applicable scope, including system access plan formulation, grid connection testing, and commissioning. According to the "Opinions on Distributed Photovoltaic Power Generation Grid Connection Service Work" previously issued by the State Grid, the cost of connecting distributed photovoltaic projects with a voltage level of 10 kV or below to the grid and a total installed capacity of no more than 6 MW at a single grid connection point to the public grid will be funded by the grid companies.

At the same time, the Ministry of Finance, the National Development and Reform Commission, and the National Energy Administration issued the "Notice on the Subsidy Catalogue for Additional Subsidies for Renewable Energy Electricity Prices (Second Batch)" on the 29th. A total of 26 provinces and cities' wind power, solar energy, biomass energy, and wind-solar complementary projects were selected.

An official from the National Energy Administration recently told the media that the administration is planning to hold a national photovoltaic work conference to study industry development issues and supporting policies, including the "Guiding Opinions on Promoting the Development of my country's Photovoltaic Industry", the "Implementation Measures for Distributed Photovoltaic Power Generation Demonstration Zones and Electricity Price Subsidy Standards", etc.

As wind power and photovoltaic power generation are intermittent energy sources, their access has a certain impact on the stability of grid voltage, and the problem of absorption has always been the biggest obstacle to the development of new energy. Wang Sicheng, a researcher at the Energy Research Center of the National Development and Reform Commission, once said that the cost of connecting a photovoltaic grid to one access point is 420,000 yuan. For example, a 1 MW project requires more than 10 access points, and the access fee alone is more than 4 million yuan.

Shu Yinbiao, deputy general manager of State Grid Corporation of my country, said at a media briefing that the company has made major breakthroughs in grid construction, grid connection, market absorption, operation management, and standard formulation, which generally meet the needs of the rapid development of photovoltaic power generation in China. As of September this year, the grid-connected photovoltaic power generation capacity in the company's operating area was 2.71 million kilowatts, a year-on-year increase of 4.2 times; the power generation was 2.52 billion kilowatt-hours, a year-on-year increase of 5.4 times. my country has become one of the countries with the fastest growth in photovoltaic power generation installed capacity.
