Treatment and elimination of common faults of computer display screen

1. The display does not show anything

(1) Check the power supply of the screen, use a test pen or multimeter to check whether there is power at the electrical end where the switch is connected. Check whether there is a problem with the switch, or check whether the line is broken.

(2) For a display screen that is synchronized with a computer, first check whether the computer has entered sleep mode. If so, first go to the "Control Panel" and click "Power Management". Select "Never" for "System Wait" and "Turn Off Monitor". This way, the computer will not go into sleep mode and the display screen can work normally. If the computer has not entered sleep mode, open the computer case and check whether the control card and communication cable are securely plugged in and whether the communication cable is broken.

2. The displayed file is incomplete or in the wrong location

(1) Check whether the parameters of "display position" and "screen size" in the software are consistent with those given by the installation engineer. If you do not know the parameters, you can first count the number of pixels in length and width on the screen. When the screen size is determined, check the difference in the display area on the screen, and then go back to the computer to adjust until the position matches.

(2) If the display is not complete, check whether the file size is consistent with the "screen size" of the screen.

(3) Open the chassis and check whether there is a short circuit on the control card.

3. The communication display screen cannot communicate

(1) Check whether the parameters in the software are consistent with those given by the installation engineer.

(2) Check whether the serial port is firmly connected and whether the communication line is broken.

4. The display screen shakes and has horizontal bars

Check whether the common ground wire connected to the computer is loose, or whether the communication cable is loose. If the operator cannot determine the cause of the problem, or is not very familiar with computers, do not disassemble the case easily, and contact the manufacturer before handling it.
