9W, 800 lumen LED bulbs are used to replace 60W incandescent bulbs. They have huge market prospects and higher profit margins than 5-7W LED bulbs.

On the other hand, we also noticed that manufacturers of LED bulbs above 9W will pay special attention to heat dissipation and light decay issues.

Currently, there are not many 800-lumen LED bulbs available because the heat dissipation and overall lamp design are not fully up to standard.

If a 1W high-power lamp bead is used, the driving current is 350mA, and the heat dissipation requirements will be relatively high, and a car aluminum shell will generally be used. The cost performance of a good car aluminum shell and the matching isolated power supply is not high.

At present, a more feasible way is to use low-power lamp beads such as 5050, 5630, plus 120mA current, the heat dissipation effect is better than 350 mA 1W power chip. Furthermore, if a non-isolated power supply can be used, the efficiency will rise to more than 90%.

Under the design concept of SMD low-power lamp beads + non-isolated power supply, if a heat sink shell that can dissipate heat and is flame-retardant and insulated (resistant to 4000V high voltage) can be matched, it will be greatly beneficial to the design of LED bulbs. This will make it easier to pass UL and CE certification.

Conventional aluminum shell LED bulbs often encounter problems with EMC, creepage distance and other items when passing certification. Redesign and re-certification will also increase costs and delay product delivery and export.

The new thermal conductive plastic lamp housing is now officially launched, which has the advantages of excellent heat dissipation performance, electrical insulation material, safety and environmental protection, light weight, simple design and application, and diversified appearance.

Among them, HS510W is a 65mm diameter thermal conductive plastic lamp housing, which is used in 9W 800lm LED bulbs and has begun mass production.

The E27 metal head can be directly snapped into place and fixed to the bottom of the lamp housing.

Easy installation without the need for the bottom plastic bridge found in traditional aluminum heat sinks.

Features :

u Therpoxy?, a patented heat dissipation composite material

u E27, E26 lamp holder interface

u High thermal conductivity, the overall heat dissipation effect of the radiator is equivalent to that of pure die-cast aluminum

u Electrical insulation material, breakdown voltage up to 4000V

u Flame retardant and environmentally friendly materials, in line with UL V0 flame retardant grade and SGS RoHS standards

u Suitable for matching non-isolated power supply, AC LED, COB light source

u High safety, the whole lamp can easily pass CE and UL safety tests

u Ultra-high long-term use temperature (RTI) exceeding 130 degrees

u Lightweight, more than 1/3 lighter than aluminum radiator

The above lamp housing is used for 9W 800 lumen LED bulb, which can provide a complete set of design solutions for reference.
