The circuit diagram of the 45W multi-channel output switching power supply composed of TOP246Y is shown in the figure. It can be used as a switching power supply for set-top boxes, telegraph translators, large-capacity hard disk drives or laptop computers. When the input voltage is AC 185V~265V, the rated output power of the power supply is 45W, and the peak output rate can reach 60W. The power efficiency N is greater than or equal to 75%, and the power consumption when no-load is only 0.6W. The five outputs are: UO1 (5V, 3.2A), UO2 (3.3V, 0.03A), UO4 (18V, 0.5A), UO6 (12V, 0.6A); their load adjustment rates are positive and negative 5%, positive and negative 5%, positive and negative 8%, positive and negative 7%, positive and negative 7% respectively. Now 5V and 3.3V are used as the main outputs, and feedback is introduced in a certain proportion to make the voltage regulation performance of these two channels the best. The remaining channels are auxiliary outputs.
Considering the high ambient temperature around the switching power supply, TOP246Y is suitable for standard set-top boxes with a temperature not exceeding 60 degrees.
