Comparison between DA series inverter and UPS modified inverter: The biggest feature of the so-called telecommunication inverter is that the DC supply voltage is 48V, but the inverter modified from the UPS with a supply voltage of 48V is not actually suitable for communication systems.

First: The input noise of the DA series inverter is small. The battery pack equipped with the UPS is used alone, and the parallel use of its battery pack is not considered. Therefore, for the UPS, the feedback noise of the input end, which is the most important thing for the communication system, is not considered, and the noise at the input end is extremely large. If the UPS battery pack is shared with the communication system, interference will occur, affecting the call quality.

Second: The DA series inverter has a specially designed DC buffer circuit. The general UPS only has an AC buffer circuit design, that is, to prevent the UPS from being impacted when the AC is turned on, but it is not enough for the communication system and is dangerous. Because the battery pack used in the communication room generally has a capacity of more than several thousand AH, when the DC switch is started, the surge generated by the battery pack is very easy to damage the components in the UPS and also easily consume the battery life. Therefore, a buffer startup circuit must be added between the battery pack and the inverter to solve the above problems.

Third: The capacity of the DA series inverter is doubled compared to the inverter of the general UPS. When the load of the general UPS is started, in order to prevent the cold start effect of the computer capacitive load, that is, the huge load current will be generated at the moment of startup (about 10ms), so it jumps to the bypass when starting and is powered by the mains. However, the DA series inverter is not the case. When the load is started or cold-started, all the impacts generated by the cold start are borne by the inverter. Therefore, the capacity factor of the DA series inverter is twice that of the UPS inverter. The DA series inverter has battery reverse connection protection. The capacity of the battery in the computer room is very large. If the inverter modified from the UPS is accidentally reversed when the battery is connected, not only the UPS will be damaged, but also the battery will be permanently damaged. However, the reverse connection protection of the DA series will prevent the startup when an error occurs, which can avoid the above problems.

Some users think that using a 48V UPS inverter, under normal circumstances, the power supply of the machine is supplied by the mains, instead of the battery pack, which seems to reduce the burden on the battery. In fact, the capacity of the battery pack used in the communication room is generally more than several thousand AH, and the battery pack is usually float-charged by the communication switch power supply (with a capacity of several hundred amperes). Therefore, there is no need to worry that the DA series inverter will add a great burden to the battery pack. In addition, due to the great interference, distortion and mutation of the industrial power grid, the UPS inverter that is usually powered by the mains will inevitably interfere with its load and affect the good operation of the load. At the same time, due to the harmonic current generated by the rectifier, it will cause backflow pollution to the power grid. Because the mains power is suddenly interrupted, the battery pack power supply current changes from zero to a large value, which will cause the battery pack voltage to drop instantly. The DA series communication dedicated inverter has nothing to do with the mains power, so the interference of the mains power does not affect the computer load. DA series inverters use the bypass system only when the inverter is damaged to supply the load with AC power. Therefore, when the inverter is used normally, the AC power is also isolated and purified.
