High -power LED lighting is currently facing many technical challenges. In order to solve the problems in this field, the LED industry has developed many different methods to solve core problems including heat dissipation, light type, brightness , service life and cost.
Taiwan's LED application manufacturer " Liquidleds Lighting Corp." has developed the "Liquid Immersion Cooling Technology (LITMS)" required for high-power LED lighting, and recently won the gold medal of the 2008 National Creative Invention Award. Heat dissipation and light type are two major problems in the LED lighting industry
The application of white light LED in the lighting industry was developed by Nichia , a Japanese LED giant , in 1996. In 1998, Lumileds of the United States developed the high-power LED product LUXEON LED with thermoelectric separation packaging, which can be said to be the beginning of the LED lighting competition for LED manufacturers such as Japan, Europe, the United States, Taiwan, China, and South Korea. However, the high-power LEDs created in this way have the lighting defect of narrow light output angle, which does not meet the requirements of the Illuminating Engineering Society of North America (IESNA) that the main lighting must have a uniform and wide light type.
In addition, if the heat dissipation of high-power LEDs is not properly handled, the brightness decay (light decay) phenomenon will be accelerated, thereby reducing the brightness and service life of the product. At present, high-power LED lighting products on the market generally use back-to-back heat dissipation technology, and their product appearance and heat dissipation efficiency are not easily accepted by consumers. This is also the biggest bottleneck of the current LED lighting industry. Therefore, the current LED lighting market generally sees auxiliary lighting and situational lighting applications, and there are few main lighting products with high visibility.
Patented technology that combines heat dissipation, light attenuation and light pattern
The "Liquid Immersion-Thermal Management Solution (LITMS)" designed by the "Liquid Light Solid-State Lighting" R&D team and patented in many countries solves the above three problems at the same time. It no longer uses the back-end metal heat dissipation commonly used in LED products, but surrounds the AC LED crystal grains with metal pillars to conduct the heat of the LED forward, and adds a unique patented liquid formula to perform 360-degree omnidirectional heat dissipation. This fully utilizes the different heat dissipation characteristics of metal and liquid. The former has fast heat conduction and the latter has high specific heat. Under the mechanism of mutual matching, high-power LED bulbs based on AC LEDs can obtain good control and solution to the heat dissipation problem.
Jiang Kunyuan, general manager of Taiwan Liquid Light Solid State Lighting Co., Ltd., said: "The forward liquid cooling design of the patented LITMS technology can effectively solve the inherent limitation of the narrow light output angle of LED (directivity), thereby greatly expanding the lighting angle of LED bulbs and increasing the luminous lumen efficiency. Its actual light output per watt is much higher than that of ordinary LED bulbs in the market."
LITMS patented technology can be effectively combined with LED semiconductor standard processes. Its unique glass vacuum packaging technology allows LED bulbs to have no exposed metal heat sink fins, avoiding the risk of electric shock to users and easily passing international safety certification.
What is Liquid Immersed Heat Management Solution?

In addition to quickly diffusing the heat flow through convection, the transverse conduction axis is also coated with reflective and light-scattering materials to increase the light diffusion effect on its surface, thereby increasing its light output efficiency.
