There are many manufacturers producing LED and LED lighting. Different manufacturers use different quality LEDs, which is an important reason for the different prices of LED lighting. Due to the increasingly fierce price war, products with almost the same appearance, structure and function have a price difference of 2-3 times. Many users are confused for a while and don’t know where the price difference comes from. Generally, it is difficult for LED lighting manufacturers that do not produce LED light-emitting tubes to distinguish, let alone consumers.

Therefore, it is better to choose an LED lighting factory that has a good source of LED production or has complete LED testing equipment, so that the purchased LED lighting products will be more secure.

Let’s take a look at the factors that cause the price difference of LED lamps:
1. Brightness
The brightness of LED is different, and the price is different.
2. Antistatic ability
LEDs with strong antistatic ability have a long life and are therefore expensive. Usually, LEDs with antistatic greater than 700V can be used in LED lighting.
3. Wavelength
LEDs with the same wavelength have the same color. If the color is required to be consistent, the price is high. It is difficult for manufacturers without LED spectrophotometers to produce products with pure colors.
4. Leakage current
LED is a unidirectional conductive light source. If there is a reverse current, it is called leakage. LEDs with large leakage current have short life and low price.
5. Lighting angle
LEDs with different uses have different light-emitting angles. Special light-emitting angles have higher prices. For example, full diffuse angles have higher prices.
6. Lifespan
The key to different quality is lifespan, which is determined by light decay. Low light decay and long lifespan, long lifespan and high price.
7. LED chip
The light source of LED is a chip. Different chips have very different prices. Chips from Japan and the United States are more expensive, while LED chips from Taiwanese and Chinese manufacturers are cheaper than those from Japan and the United States.
8. Chip size
The size of the chip is expressed by the side length. The quality of large chip LEDs is better than that of small chips. The price is proportional to the chip size.
9. Colloid
The colloid of ordinary LEDs is generally epoxy resin. LEDs with anti-ultraviolet and fire retardants are more expensive. High-quality outdoor LED lighting should be anti-ultraviolet and fireproof.

There are still some illegal people in the LED lighting market who deceive suppliers, defraud suppliers of materials to produce finished products, and sell the finished products at abnormally low prices in exchange for cash. There are also a few LED lighting manufacturers who deceive dealers and users with unrealistic promises, and then shirk responsibility by constantly changing the business name or person in charge.
