(3) Adopting the latest DVI interface technology: DVI interface (Digital Visual Interface) is the industrial standard for the interface between PC and digital flat panel display (including). As we all know, computers are digital, that is, the information they process is all digital, but the most widely used CRT display (such as TV) is analog. Therefore, before the data processed by the computer is sent to the display for display, a digital/analog conversion (D/A) must be done. Using the DVI interface, the developed LED display system can be directly from the PC The DVI interface for data acquisition does not require a dedicated graphics card such as the Galaxy card, nor does it require a special acquisition card. It is not restricted by the PC. Since there is no D/A and MD conversion process, the loss of image details is avoided, thereby ensuring the perfect reproduction of computer images on the display screen. At the same time, since DVI is an industrial standard, it can work well even though the bandwidth is as high as 83MHZ. Now DVI can support all display modes from VGA (640×480) to HDTV (1920×1080) and QXGA (2048×1536). In addition, the LED display system developed using the DVI interface can integrate many important functions on the basis of obtaining stable and reliable display data, such as: ① no data loss, ② not restricted by the PC, ③Easy to upgrade, the memory of general display cards is 8M, while the memory of this card is 128-256M, ④Adjustment of window position and size; ⑤Frame rate up to 60HZ; ⑥Non-linear adjustment output, more suitable for human eyes; ⑦100-level screen brightness control; ⑧Constant current drive; ⑨The brightness of red, green and blue colors of the unit board can be adjusted separately to eliminate mosaics.
(4)Adopting indoor full-color system: In addition to completing the task of distributing display data, the chip has the characteristic of converting the received 8-bit display data into 12-bit PWM output pulses, so that the display screen can achieve 4096 (12bit) grayscale control, ensuring the realization of non-linear 256-level visual grayscale, achieving full-color visual effects, and fundamentally solving the system complexity caused by excessive data transmission in digital display systems.
It has the following characteristics:
①Simplicity Since the most complex data conversion part of the system is implemented in the form of internal chip logic, the system becomes very simple.
②Easy to maintain Directly related to simplicity is the easy maintainability of the system. Since the complex control part is eliminated, system maintenance becomes a task that can be completed by junior technicians, which not only reduces the overall maintenance cost but also improves user satisfaction.
③High reliability The simplicity of the system control part further brings about the high reliability of the system, which is mainly because the integrated chip technology is several times more stable than the discrete device technology. ④High
cost performance The system realizes the control of 4096 levels of grayscale of the screen base color with the most reliable performance, and the image display is realistic and natural, achieving the same display control effect.
⑤Unitized and structured design is consistent with the current development direction of the industry. The large-scale display system adopts a unitized design in the screen structure. The system connection is intuitive and simple, which not only ensures that the size of the display body can be spliced and adjusted according to needs, but also makes the installation, debugging and maintenance of the system extremely simple, thereby minimizing the invisible failure rate of the display system.
⑥Industrialized reliability design The system adopts a unitized design, replacing a large number of discrete devices in the traditional design, which greatly improves the reliability and stability of the system.
⑦The whole set of solutions consists of a system including data source, transmission equipment, data processing, data distribution and software management tools, making the construction of LED display screens simple and standardized. This technology has been continuously developed and improved in the actual application process, and has become a set of the most mature, stable and easy-to-implement system solutions.
⑧The most core performance indicator of the LED display screen is the grayscale or brightness level achieved for each primary color (red, green and blue). The current international display standard requires each primary color to reach a visual grayscale of 256 levels. The built-in processing logic of the dedicated grayscale control chip can output up to 4096 levels of grayscale, and select the 256-level grayscale output that fits the CRT display, making the overall image effect clearer, more realistic and more appealing.
⑨ High resolution and high refresh rate In addition to grayscale, the other two performance indicators of the display are its resolution and refresh rate. Due to the characteristics and requirements of the LED display itself, traditional solutions often have to lose one or two of the standards as the cost of improving the other indicator. Since the data output per second of each pin of the chip reaches 1 megabyte, it far exceeds the data output capacity of the traditional solution, thus fundamentally solving this problem. This full-color system can simultaneously support a screen resolution of 1024×768 and a screen refresh rate of up to 300Hz, far exceeding the performance indicators of traditional solutions, making the display stable, flicker-free, and tail-free.
(5) Adopting constant current drive: This circuit technology is mature and reliable, and has been widely used in full-color display screens. It has a high performance-price ratio and is a constant current drive chip commonly used by many companies. It can better solve the defect of discrete voltage drop of LED tubes and has good performance, eliminating mosaics.
(6) Fiber optic transmission, non-attenuated fiber optic transmission technology:
① Fiber optic transmission has a wide bandwidth and large communication capacity. The available bandwidth of optical fiber is about 1.25G, which has a wide bandwidth and improves the scanning frequency and refresh frequency. The refresh frequency of the LED full-color screen designed by our company is ≥200Hz/s.
② The optical fiber transmission loss is low and the relay distance is long. Its maximum relay distance can reach 15,000 meters, which improves reliability and stability.
③ Fiber optic transmission is resistant to electromagnetic interference. Fiber optic is an insulating material. It is not affected by natural lightning interference, changes in the ionosphere and sunspot activity, nor by industrial electrical appliances such as electrified railway feeders and high-voltage equipment.
④ Fiber optic wire diameter is thin, light and soft. The core diameter of the fiber optic is very thin, about 0.1mm, which is only one hundredth of the single-tube coaxial cable; the diameter of the optical cable is also very small, the cross-sectional diameter of the 8-core optical cable is about 10mm, while the standard coaxial cable is 47mm. By utilizing this feature of optical fiber, the transmission system occupies a small space, making construction and wiring convenient and fast.
⑤ In addition to the above outstanding advantages, fiber optic transmission also has the advantages of strong corrosion resistance, resistance to nuclear radiation, and low energy consumption.
