Operation Instructions
Before testing, the instrument host and voltage collector shell should be reliably grounded, and correct wiring should be performed according to different test methods. For wiring instructions under various test methods, please refer to "7 Test Wiring". When using the wireless test method, the voltage collector should be placed in a relatively high position (for example, above the PT terminal box) to increase the wireless communication distance.

● Wired test mode, displays the battery power of the voltage collector and the wired connection status; when the battery power is low, the battery symbol flashes; the up and down arrow signs are displayed when the connection is successful, and the "?" sign is displayed when the connection fails, and "di‥di‥di‥" is displayed. Alarm sound.
● In the induction test mode, the status of the voltage collector is not displayed.
● Displaying this icon indicates that the USB flash drive has been inserted and initialized successfully.
6.3.2 Test parameter setting
Select "Start live test" in the "Main Menu" screen and press "Confirm" to enter the "Test parameter setting" screen, see Figure 8.
Press the up and down keys to select the setting item, press "Confirm" or the right key to enter the specific value setting; when the cursor is at the specific value position, press the up and down keys to adjust the value, press the "Confirm" key or the left key to return to item selection.
The prompt window on the right displays the operation instructions and important tips for the corresponding setting items.
Figure 8 Test parameter settings
● Test number: Set the current test number.
● Device name: The number of the device under test. It does not need to be set.
● Test method: There are three test methods: wired, wireless, and induction. When selecting the wireless test method, the number to the right of the word "wireless" indicates the channel value currently used by the wireless module.
● Reference phase: can be set to ABC, A, B, C, AB, CB; when selecting the induction test mode, it is fixed to B phase.
ABC means using three-phase voltages as reference voltages at the same time.
A, B, and C indicate the use of single-phase voltage as the reference voltage.
AB and CB indicate that when the B phase of the PT is grounded, A versus B or C versus B is used as the reference voltage.
Except for the ABC mode, the reference voltage in other modes is input from the phase A (yellow line) channel of the voltage collector.
● Measured phase: can be set to ABC, A, B, C
ABC means three-phase simultaneous measurement, and three-phase currents are input into the ABC (yellow, green, red) three-phase current channels at the same time.
A, B, and C represent single-phase measurements, and all use the A-phase (yellow) current channel to input current.
● Compensation mode: It can be set to three modes: "disabled compensation", "manual compensation", and "automatic edge compensation".
"Disable compensation": that is, the compensation angle is 0°. When the reference phase is a single phase and the measured phase is different from the reference phase, the instrument automatically sets the theoretical compensation angle, as shown in the table below.
Measured phase A | Measured phase B | Measured phase C | |
Reference phase ABC | 0° | 0° | 0° |
Reference phase A | 0° | 120° | 240° |
Reference phase B | 240° | 0° | 120° |
Reference phase C | 120° | 240° | 0° |
Reference phase AB | 30° | 150° | 270° |
Reference phase CB | 90° | 210° | 330° |
"Manual compensation": Manually set the compensation angles of the three phases A, B, and C. The setting range is between ±360.00°. Note: The compensation angle must be set with a basis and cannot be set at will!
"Automatic side compensation": Compensate automatically based on the principle described in "4.2 Interphase interference and automatic compensation principle".
Note: The compensation angle is always added to the phase difference between current and voltage; for example, if the current and voltage phase difference is 80° and the compensation angle is 1°, then the final current-voltage angle after compensation is 81°.
● Compensation angle: Here you can view or set the compensation angles of A, B, and C phases; during single-phase measurement, only the compensation angle of the measured phase is displayed.
● PT transformation ratio: Set the PT voltage transformation ratio value in wired and wireless test modes. This transformation ratio value is invalid in induction test mode.
There are two setting modes for the PT transformation ratio, which are divided into "custom value" and "preset transformation ratio"; in the "custom value" mode, you can set the transformation ratio value at will; in the "preset transformation ratio" mode, you can select the PT primary rated voltage and PT secondary rated voltage to automatically calculate the PT transformation ratio.
● Start test: After the parameter setting is completed, move the cursor here and press the "Confirm" key to start the test process and enter the test data display screen; in addition, the instrument will automatically save this parameter setting for easy use next time.
6.3.3 Test data display screen
The test data display screen is divided into five screens: main test data, detailed test data, harmonic test data, waveform test data and parameter setting view. Move the cursor to "Display" and press the "OK" key to switch; during single-phase measurement, There is no separate waveform test data display screen, waveform test data will be displayed in all test data screens.
The parameter setting view screen here is mainly used to view the parameter settings during this test and cannot be modified. If you need to modify the parameter settings, please return to the "Test Parameter Settings" screen to modify it.
The main test data screen is shown in Figure 9; the detailed test data screen is shown in Figure 10; the harmonic test data screen is shown in Figure 11; the waveform test data screen is shown in Figure 12; the parameter setting view screen is shown in Figure 13 .
