1. Zero adjustment:

First check if the pointer indicates zero (in the left row) using

position, that is, zero adjuster "A" should be rotated so that the pointer indicates zero.

2. Electric detonator resistance test.

Turn the conversion switch "S" to "3Ω" or "9Ω", the pointer will turn to the right, adjust the potentiometer "R" to point the pointer to "0Ω" (that is, in the middle of the red △), and then fix one end of the test resistor to terminal "K2". At the other end, press your hand to terminal "K3". The pointer's indicated value is the unknown resistance reading.

Note: K3 is a composite terminal, used as a terminal and a button. If the pointer is not adjusted to "0Ω", the battery voltage is insufficient and a new battery should be replaced.

3. Conductive wire measurement:

Turn the switch "S" to the "conductor" position, and the pointer will deflect to the right. Adjust the potentiometer "R" so that the average value of the pointer is "OΩ", and the end of the measured resistance is fixed on the connection column. "K2", press the binding column "K3" with the other hand, then the indication value of the pointer is the unknown resistance value reading, refer to the third scale.

4. Nighttime measurement:

If the sandblasting operation is carried out at night, the lighting switch "K1" can be turned to the "on" position.

Precautions for using electric detonator tester

1. When measuring the resistance of electric explosive networks and electric detonators, the relevant safety operating procedures should be strictly followed.

2. When the instrument is not used for a long time, the resistor should be removed to prevent other parts of the instrument from being affected by battery corrosion.

3. The night lighting indicator and the line share power. During the day and when not in use, the lighting switch should be turned to the "off" position. When used at night, the lighting time should not be too long, and the lighting should be turned on first and then reset.

4. Before starting the measurement, the switch "S" should be rotated several times to ensure good contact.

5. The material of the watch cover is plexiglass and cannot be wiped with machine solvents (such as alcohol, gasoline).
