The resistance value measured is its DC resistance. Since the diode is a nonlinear element, its voltage and current are not proportional, so the current passing through the tube is different, and the measured DC resistance is also different. When measuring with the ω×1 gear, since the internal resistance of the multimeter is small, the current passing through the diode is large, and the tube works at point q1, the DC resistance (vd1/id1) is small. When measuring with the ω×100 gear, the internal resistance of the multimeter is large, the current passing through the diode is small, and the tube works at point q2, so the DC resistance (vd2/id2) is large.

My understanding of the diode block of a multimeter
I am engaged in circuit board chip-level repair, and I have always wanted to figure out a question, that is, what is the diode block of the multimeter used for. After a long period of thinking, I wrote the following content, please take a look and give your opinions. Let's first recall what the most commonly used fu

Laser diode detection method
1. Resistance measurement method Remove the laser diode and use a multimeter with R 1k or R 10k to measure its forward and reverse resistance values. Normally, the forward resistance value is between 20 and 40kΩ, and the reverse resistance value is ∞ (infinity). If the measured forward resistance value exceeds 50kΩ, i

How to judge the quality and polarity of diodes
Crystal diodes have two electrodes, positive and negative, with small forward resistance and large reverse resistance. Taking advantage of this feature, you can use the resistance range of a multimeter to roughly measure the quality and polarity of the diode. 1. Judgment of the quality of diodes When using a multime
