Emerson Analyzer 1066-P-HT-60 Installation Notes

Installation Precautions:

1. Although the analyzer is suitable for outdoor installation, it should be kept away from direct sunlight and the operating ambient temperature should not exceed 0-50°C (32-122°F).

2. The analyzer should be installed in a location that avoids vibration, electromagnetic interference, and radio interference as much as possible.

3. The analyzer and sensor should be installed at least 1 foot away from the high voltage conductor, and the analyzer should be installed in a location that is easily accessible to the operator.

4. The power cable and relay alarm cable cannot be routed in through the upper cable entry hole of the instrument, but must be routed in through different cable entry holes.

5. To reduce the stress effect during wiring, do not remove the hinges connecting the front panel and the meter body when installing the wiring (-11 short tube installation/wall installation option), and leave enough wire length.

6. If the UL certification option is selected, be sure to connect the transparent shielded wire before starting the instrument.

The instrument adopts double insulation protection.

For 24VDC power supply option, the instrument can be used in Class I, Div. 2, Group AD.

RFI (Radio Interference) / EMI (Electromagnetic Interference): Complies with EN-61326 standards.

LVD: Complies with EN-61010-1 standard.

Input: One or two sensors can be connected. The sensors can be pH/ORP, resistivity/conductivity, toroidal conductivity, chlorine, dissolved oxygen, ozone, flow or temperature. The instrument has the function of defining the detection parameters on site. The operator can define the measured parameters on site. For specific combinations, please refer to the combination selection guide at the back of the product sample. For contact conductivity detection, the thermal resistor used for temperature compensation is Pt100.

For the detection of other parameters, the thermal resistor used for temperature compensation is Pt100, Pt1000 or 22k NTC (the latter is only suitable for dissolved oxygen detection).

Output: 2 isolated 4-20mA or 0-20mA outputs, continuously adjustable, linear or logarithmic output characteristics, load resistance 600 ohms. Output damping time constant 5 seconds (user adjustable).

Alarm: 3 alarm relays can be used for measured parameter alarm or process temperature alarm. The default alarm state of alarm 3 is process alarm. Each relay is independently set, and the alarm logic is high alarm, low alarm or USP 23 alarm. The deadband size can also be defined by the user.

USP 23 alarms are generally set by programming, that is, when the conductivity value reaches a certain limit percentage set by the user, the instrument triggers an alarm. Note: USP 23 alarms are only applicable to conductivity/resistivity testing.

Relay: Type C, single-pole double-throw, epoxy resin encapsulation
