The AC/DC voltage divider is a special instrument for field measurement. It can measure both DC high voltage and AC high voltage. The whole device consists of two parts: the voltage divider and the measuring instrument. The voltage divider adopts a balanced equipotential shielding structure and uses high-quality electronic components inside a completely sealed insulating cylinder, which makes the whole device accurate in testing, good in linearity, and stable in performance. It adopts the equipotential shielding method, has high measurement accuracy, digital display, high accuracy, stable performance, simple structure, small size, light weight, and is easy to carry. It is an ideal device to replace the electrostatic voltmeter for field measurement.
GDFR AC/DC voltage divider can also be called digital high voltage meter or RC voltage divider. It is our company's latest patented product. It is widely used in power plants, substations, high voltage electrical equipment manufacturers and high voltage laboratories. It is mainly used for the measurement of pulse high voltage, lightning high voltage and power frequency high voltage. Different precision voltage dividers can be selected according to different measurement accuracy requirements of customers. The voltage divider ratio can be customized, which is more cost-effective.
Tips for using AC/DC voltage divider:
The AC/DC voltage divider is composed of two-stage voltage divider tubes, and the two parts must be reliably connected when in use.
1. Open the aluminum alloy box and take out the voltage divider tube, pressure equalizing ball, special digital measuring instrument and special cable.
2. Place the divider cylinder with a base safely and securely, and install the second voltage divider cylinder and the pressure equalizing ball in sequence (see Figure 1).
3. Connect the ground wire securely to the "ground wire" terminal on the base of the voltage divider.
4. Firmly connect the high-voltage lead to be measured and the voltage-equalizing ball at the top of the voltage divider.
5. Insert one end of the special cable into the output hole of the voltage divider, and the other end into the voltage measurement hole of the measuring instrument. Make sure to plug it in tightly.
6. Select the location for the measuring instrument according to the high voltage to be measured.
7. Apply high voltage and record the data.
8. After the voltage has been reduced for a period of time, until the measuring instrument displays zero, the master can remove the test line.
Maintenance and care of AC and DC voltage dividers:
1. When the instrument is not in use, it should be packed and sealed in a cool and dry place.
2. It should be sent to the superior metrology and verification department for calibration at least once a year, or returned to the factory for calibration.
