  Magnetic flap level gauges are mainly used for the measurement and control of liquid levels and are widely used in the production processes of power, petroleum, chemical, metallurgy, environmental protection, shipbuilding, construction, food and other industries. In order to make the magnetic flap level gauge work more stably and reliably, instrument users need to understand some matters that should be paid attention to when using the magnetic flap level gauge. The following is a detailed introduction:



  1. The installation position of the magnetic flap level gauge should avoid or be far away from the inlet and outlet of the material medium to avoid rapid changes in the local area of ​​the material fluid, which will affect the accuracy of the liquid level measurement.

  2. No magnetic objects are allowed around the magnetic flap level gauge, and it is forbidden to fix it with wire. Because if there are magnetic objects, it will directly affect the accuracy of the monitoring data of the magnetic flap level gauge, making the measurement meaningless.

  3. The measured medium cannot contain magnetic objects, otherwise it will seriously affect the measurement results.

  4. The installation of the magnetic flap level gauge must be kept vertical to ensure that the magnetic float runs smoothly in the buoy.

  5. When opening the bottom flange and installing the magnetic float, be sure not to install it upside down. The heavy end with the magnet should face upwards, otherwise it will affect the measurement effect.

  6. According to the conditions of the medium, the magnetic flap level gauge should be cleaned from time to time. This will help to extend the service life of the magnetic flap level gauge and the accuracy of measurement.

  7. For magnetic flap level gauges that exceed the original length, it is necessary to make fixed supports in the middle. In this way, the weight of the magnetic flap level gauge can be fully overcome, thereby achieving better measurement results.

  8. When using a heating pipeline, be sure to use a non-conductor for tracing. The heating temperature is determined by the temperature of the medium, which is also something we need to pay special attention to.

  9. After the installation of the magnetic flap level gauge, it needs to be calibrated with magnetic steel, and the flap column should be guided once so that the display is red below zero and white above zero.

  10. When equipped with a reed switch remote transmitter, please note the following points:

  ① The reed switch remote transmitter should be placed close to the main pipe of the level meter and fixed with a stainless steel clamp (iron is prohibited).

  ② The sensing surface on the reed switch remote transmitter should face and be close to the main conduit.

  ③ The zero position of the reed switch remote transmitter should be on the same horizontal line as the zero position indication of the magnetic flap level gauge.

  ④ The connection between the reed switch remote transmitter and the display instrument or industrial computer is best laid separately through a protective tube or with a shielded two-core cable.

  ⑤ After the wiring hole of the junction box is laid, it is required to be well sealed to prevent the intrusion of rainwater, moisture, etc., which may cause the reed switch remote transmitter to malfunction. The junction box should be covered in time after maintenance or debugging.
