The oscilloscope displays the signal on the screen, and the results displayed on the screen can be used to study the device under test. Most people usually encounter some problems when using an oscilloscope, such as the screen is not lit, there is no signal display, etc. For some common problems, we can determine the cause of the fault through simple detection:
    1. After pressing the switch and turning on the power, the oscilloscope screen is not lit, and there is no display. When we encounter this kind of fault, don't worry, you can perform self-tests through the following points:
    1) First check whether the power connector is connected properly. If it is not plugged in or loose, and there is no power, the screen will definitely not display.
    2) Check whether the power switch is pressed
    3) If you have completed the above checks, you can restart the oscilloscope.
    4) The product will not display if it is not triggered to scan.

If the above tests still do not display normally, you can restart. If it still does not display normally, there may be a problem inside the oscilloscope. You should consult the corresponding supplier or send it for repair.

    2. During use, signal acquisition is performed, but no wave appears. In this case, we can find the cause through 4-point detection:
    1) Is the product probe connected to the signal connection line?
    2) Is the signal connection line normally connected to the BNC?
    3) Is the probe normally connected to the measured object
? 4) Is the object being detected generating a signal?
    5) If there are no problems with the above, we can collect again. If it still does not display, you can consult the personnel.

    3. The measured voltage amplitude value is 10 times larger than the actual value or 1/10 of the actual value.
Check whether the attenuation coefficient of the channel is consistent with the attenuation ratio of the probe actually used.

    4. There is a waveform display, but it cannot be stabilized
    1) Check whether the signal source option on the trigger panel matches the actual signal channel used.
    2) Check the trigger type. Only when the appropriate trigger mode is applied can the waveform be displayed stably.
    3) Try changing the "coupling" to "high frequency suppression" or low frequency suppression display to filter out the high frequency or low frequency noise that interferes with the trigger.

    5. Press the RUN/STOP button but nothing is displayed. The troubleshooting method is as follows: Check whether the trigger mode of the trigger panel is normal or word mode, and the trigger level exceeds the waveform range. If it is, center the trigger level. Or set the trigger mode to automatic mode. In addition, press the AUTO button to automatically complete the above settings.
