Digital power meter refers to a power meter that converts the measured electrical parameters into digital signals and displays them in numerical form. It is mainly used to measure electrical parameters such as voltage, current, frequency, active power, power factor, etc.
Digital AC power meters can be divided into single-phase digital power meters, three-phase digital power meters and multi-phase digital power meters (such as six-phase, 12-phase, 15-phase, etc.) according to the number of phases of the measured circuit.
Digital power meters usually use surface mount technology, with small size, stable performance, rich interface functions and measurement functions. The measurement functions are more comprehensive, such as harmonics, PWM waves, no-load loss, etc., which can meet the laboratory power frequency product testing requirements.
Digital power meters can be divided into single-phase power meters and three-phase power meters according to the test voltage phase line. Single-phase power meters are widely used in the measurement of televisions, transformers, etc., while three-phase power meters are suitable for parameter measurement of three-phase instruments such as motors.
Digital power meters can be divided into AC power meters, DC power meters or AC/DC power meters. The corresponding model can be selected according to actual application needs.
AC digital power meters are usually suitable for measuring electrical parameters within the industrial frequency or a certain frequency range. A digital energy meter used for electric energy measurement is a type of digital power meter.
Digital power meters can be divided into general power meters and high-precision power meters according to the test accuracy. The accuracy of conventional power meters on the market is generally 0.5, that is, the error is 0.5%; the high-precision can be as high as 0.5%.
