Electro Rent Global CEO Changes, Steps Up Support for Customers

Electro Rent, a provider of test and measurement equipment solutions and services, has announced the appointment of Michael Clark as global chief executive officer. He will succeed Nigel Brown, who will continue to serve as an advisor to the company.

 

Mr. Clark brings 33 years of technology industry experience to the role and has served as CEO of the Americas for Electro Rent since early 2017. Prior to that, he was CEO of Microlease Americas, which was acquired by Electro Rent in 2017. Prior to that, Mr. Clark was Executive Managing Director of Airvana. “Michael is a seasoned leader with a long track record of success in test and measurement and extensive experience in the broader technology markets,” said Louis Samson, Partner at Platinum Equity. “His expertise and his dedication to Electro Rent, its team members, business partners and customers across key technology sectors align with our long-term vision for the Company.”

 

Electro Rent has also appointed Jonathan Watson as the company’s Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Watson has served at Electro Rent since 2017 in various roles, including most recently as Senior Vice President of Finance and previously as Interim Chief Financial Officer.

 

Electro Rent recently announced two new appointments in the Asia Pacific and China regions, appointing Paul Pan as Senior Vice President of the Asia Pacific region and Jim Chen as General Manager of the Greater China region. Under the leadership of the new senior management, Electro Rent Asia Pacific, especially the Greater China region, will continue to study the in-depth needs and challenges faced by customers and further increase support for customers.
