The integrated orifice flowmeter is a differential pressure generating device for measuring flow. It can measure the flow of various fluids in the pipeline with a differential pressure transmitter. The throttling device includes a standard orifice plate, a circular orifice plate, etc. It is widely used in petroleum, chemical, metallurgy, electric power, light industry and other departments.

Precautions before installing the integrated orifice flowmeter:

Precautions before installing the integrated orifice flowmeter

1. Before installing the instrument, the process pipeline should be purged to prevent the ferromagnetic substances retained in the pipeline from adhering to the instrument, affecting the performance of the instrument and even damaging the instrument. If it is unavoidable, a magnetic filter should be installed at the inlet of the instrument. The instrument itself does not participate in the air purge before commissioning to avoid damage to the instrument.

2. Before installing the instrument into the process pipeline, check it for damage.

3. The installation form of the instrument is divided into vertical installation and horizontal installation. If it is a vertical installation, the angle between the center vertical line of the instrument and the plumb line should be less than 2°; if it is a horizontal installation, the angle between the horizontal center line of the instrument and the horizontal line should be less than 2°.

4. The upstream and downstream pipelines of the instrument should have the same diameter as the instrument, and the connecting flange or thread should match the flange and thread of the instrument. The length of the upstream straight pipe section of the instrument should be at least 5 times the nominal diameter of the instrument, and the length of the downstream straight pipe section should be greater than or equal to 250mm.

5. Since the instrument transmits signals through magnetic coupling, in order to ensure the performance of the instrument, no ferromagnetic materials are allowed to exist at least 250px around the installation.

6. The instrument for measuring gas is calibrated at a specific pressure. If the gas is discharged directly into the atmosphere at the outlet of the instrument, a pressure drop will occur at the float and cause data distortion. If this is the working condition, a valve should be installed at the outlet of the instrument.

7. Instruments installed in pipelines should not be subjected to stress, and the inlets and outlets of the instruments should have appropriate pipeline supports to keep the instruments in a low-stress state.

8. Be especially careful when installing instruments with PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) linings. Because PTFE will deform under pressure, do not overtighten the flange nuts.

9. When installing instruments with LCD displays, try to avoid direct sunlight on the display to reduce the service life of the LCD.

10. When measuring low-temperature media, a jacket type must be selected.
