The boiler level gauge has the function of accurate and continuous measurement and control of the liquid level under all working conditions, and can automatically compensate for the liquid phase medium, dielectric constant change, vapor phase medium, and dielectric constant change at the same time. Key adjustment, easy calibration, with self-diagnosis, full temperature range, measurement system, temperature drift does not exceed 0.1PF, the electrode is made of non-metallic material, and mechatronics. The intelligent boiler drum level gauge has the characteristics of high temperature resistance, high pressure, long life, high reliability, high precision, and high stability. It can be widely used in the liquid level measurement and control of various specifications of industrial drums, high-pressure heaters, low-pressure heaters, converters and other pressure vessels.
The importance of boiler level measurement is well known. However, the balanced container (differential pressure) measurement method used in the continuous measurement technology of boiler drum water level has many defects that cannot be improved, which are mainly reflected in the following aspects:
1. It is not possible to implement full-operating condition measurement. There are problems such as "false water level" measurement, long time to establish stable differential pressure conditions under unstable operating conditions such as boiler start-up, shutdown, emptying, continuous discharge, accidents, etc., long recovery time or simply unable to establish normal differential pressure, requiring manual intervention.
2. Under stable working conditions, due to structural limitations, the compensation problem of system measurement error caused by water side insulation cannot be completely solved. Under accident conditions such as boiler lack of water or full of water, excessive system measurement error may bring serious consequences
3. The structure is complex, there are many static sealing points, the construction scale is large and there are problems with winter insulation.
4. The measurement time lag is long, which cannot immediately respond to changes in boiler water level, and the measurement signal adjustment quality is poor.
5. Due to the heat release of the condensing tube, the cost of use is extremely high.
These defects are caused by the differential pressure measurement principle and the unreasonable sampling structure of the system, which cannot be improved. Under abnormal working conditions, it poses a great hidden danger to the safe operation of the boiler.
