Electromagnetic flowmeters are widely used in various industries, such as petroleum, chemical industry, etc. For the selection of electromagnetic flowmeters, the most important thing is the selection of its lining. How to choose the lining should be understood first to help everyone choose the lining:

How to choose the lining for electromagnetic flowmeter

1. Ordinary rubber.

The medium temperature is 60℃, and its characteristics are elasticity and good wear resistance. It is generally used in urban water supply and drainage and other fields, and its corrosion resistance is relatively poor.

2. Polytetrafluoroethylene, also called PTFE, also called F4.

One of the more commonly used lining materials. Because of its stable chemical properties, it is generally used for sanitary liquids or highly corrosive liquids, such as concentrated acids and alkalis.

3. Fluorinated ethylene propylene, also called F46.

This material is similar to PTFE, but its wear resistance is stronger than PTFE. The maximum medium temperature can reach 100℃.

4. Polyurethane rubber.

It has excellent wear resistance, but is not strong enough for corrosion, and the temperature must not exceed 80°C. It is generally used in industrial and mining environments with high wear resistance requirements, such as the measurement of ore slurry, coal slurry and other media.

5. Ceramic material

Ceramics is undoubtedly the best and most durable material of all. Its biggest disadvantage is that its price is not down to earth, its production process is complicated, it requires extremely high craftsmanship, and its selling price is extremely high.
