Vortex flowmeter is a flow meter with extremely wide applications. It can be used to measure and control the flow of almost all gases, liquids and steam. Our company has developed a new generation of HHWJ series digital intelligent vortex flowmeters with international advanced level. It breaks through the limitations of traditional analog methods for processing vortex signals. It uses modern digital signal processing methods to identify and screen vortex probe signals to obtain normal flow signals, greatly improving the seismic performance of the vortex flowmeter and fundamentally solving the problem of vortex flowmeter non-seismic for decades. It is widely used in water supply, salt supply and air supply in petrochemical, light industry, thermal power, papermaking and other industries.
Judging the quality of vortex flowmeter is related to two parts: 1. Probe; 2. Circuit board
Probe: There are two piezoelectric crystals inside, one for vibration resistance and one for detection. The probe leads are the two leads of the detection piece. The probe shell is inserted from the vortex body tube wall and fixed on the vortex body tube wall through a fixing flange. The probe can work normally below 300℃ and can withstand up to 350℃. If the temperature is higher, the sealing porcelain body will be destroyed, the performance of the probe will be reduced, and even the probe will be damaged. We can use the multimeter "×10k" to check the two leads of the probe, which should be infinite. If there is resistance, the performance of the probe is reduced; if it is below tens of kiloohms, the probe is damaged.
Circuit board: The quality of its design is directly related to whether the signal generated by the vortex is correct. We can usually use an oscilloscope to check the waveform generated by the flow meter when it is working.
The sealing between the sensor and the meter body is very important in the production of vortex flowmeter. If the sealing is not good, the meter body will leak. A pressure test must be carried out before leaving the factory, and the flow calibration must be carried out using a calibration device.
