The optical theodolite is a commonly used measuring instrument, which is widely used in the fields of industry, electronics, machinery, metallurgy, electricity, construction, etc. Users need to know the knowledge of using the optical theodolite when using it. The following editor will introduce the classification of optical theodolites in detail, hoping to help everyone.

Optical Theodolite Overview

Optical theodolite: Its main function is to measure the longitudinal and transverse axis (center line), verticality, and control measurement of horizontal and vertical angles. Optical theodolite is mainly used for measurement of plane control network for electromechanical engineering buildings (structures) and control measurement of plumbness of plant (workshop) column installation. It is used to measure longitudinal and transverse center lines, establish installation measurement control network and perform measurement control during the whole installation process.

Optical theodolite classification

According to the physical characteristics, theodolites have gone through three development stages: mechanical, optical-mechanical and intelligent, integrating optical, mechanical, electrical and microelectronic technologies. The iconic products of each stage are vernier theodolites, optical theodolites and electronic theodolites. Currently, optical theodolites and electronic theodolites are mainly used. Optical theodolites use the principles of magnification, reflection and refraction of collective optics to read the degree dial; electronic theodolites use the principles of physical optics, electronics and photoelectric conversion to display the degree dial reading. Electronic theodolites are highly integrated products of modern high technology.

According to the angle measurement accuracy, optical theodolites are divided into DJ1, DJ2, DJ6 and other grades. DJ6 is the Chinese pinyin abbreviation of the first letters of "Earth" and "Theodolite". 1, 2, and 6 are the mean error (in seconds) of the theodolite in the direction of measurement.
