During the three-day event, ams will exhibit a series of high-quality optical emitters, optical components and optical sensors, and launch new products that have attracted much attention, demonstrating ams' breakthrough achievements in core technology research and development. These products are mainly aimed at fast-growing application markets such as automobiles, consumers, industry, medical and AR/VR.
The semiconductor industry is the technological foundation for digital transformation, and the continuous progress of optical semiconductor technology is leading the innovation of electronic components. With breakthroughs in micro-light source and sensor technology, they are unlocking unprecedented application potential for all walks of life. In the automotive industry, the application of intelligent lighting and sensing technology enables vehicles to respond intelligently to the surrounding environment, monitor the safety of passengers and drivers, and realize autonomous driving functions, greatly improving the intelligence and safety of driving; in the field of industrial manufacturing, optical semiconductor technology is promoting the development of machine vision and robotics technology, making fully automated smart factories a reality; in the medical field, high-precision LED and sensor technology are revolutionizing imaging and diagnostic methods, bringing economical, efficient and intelligent innovative applications to the medical industry.
As a global leader in optical solutions, ams Osram will bring new products this time, including breakthrough applications of EVIYOS® technology and a new generation of single-zone direct time-of-flight (dToF) sensors, which will provide strong support for innovations in the fields of smart lighting and consumer electronics, and further demonstrate ams Osram's insight into and layout of the future market.
EVIYOS® technology is applied to the industrial field for the first time, leading the new vision of smart cities
ams and OSRAM will jointly launch a new smart projection lamp product with its partners. This product uses ams and OSRAM's automotive-grade EVIYOS® technology and is applied to the industrial field for the first time. The new product EVIYOS® Shape is composed of an integrated pixelated µ-LED chip matrix, which can help create a highly interactive visual experience in various urban light and shadow scenes such as outdoor advertising, cultural and tourism landscapes, and commercial exhibitions.
The new generation of dToF sensors further expands application scenarios
The new generation of dToF sensor TMF8806 revolutionizes the perception boundary of space-constrained applications with low power consumption, high precision, ultra-fast response speed and extremely compact appearance. It has a 24° field of view and accurately measures the sending and receiving time of ultra-short light pulses to obtain accurate distances. It also strengthens the single-zone detection function, and the detection range can be expanded to 1cm to 2.5m in standard mode and up to 5m in long-range mode.
In addition, ams will launch new IR LED and blue laser products in the future, and will also exhibit leading products closely related to social development, such as machine vision, lidar, in-cabin sensing, and vital signs monitoring. You are welcome to continue to lock in ams booth (H6C55) at the China International Optoelectronics Exposition from September 11 to 13. ams looks forward to joining you in this optoelectronic feast and exploring the infinite possibilities of optical technology together!
