July 22, 2022 – Mouser Electronics, Inc., an authorized global semiconductor and electronic component distributor focused on the introduction of new products, has announced that it has been named the 2021 Electronic Catalog Distributor of the Year by Omron Electronic Components. This is the second consecutive year that Mouser has received this award. Omron recognized Mouser for its outstanding performance in sales growth, customer growth, and cooperative marketing.
"In 2021, Mouser worked closely with Omron's U.S. sales team to achieve excellent results in key performance growth indicators," said Caroline Wells, sales manager of distribution at Omron Electronic Components' U.S. subsidiary. As part of the award, Omron made a generous donation in Mouser's name to the Mansfield Independent School District (MISD) Education Foundation in Texas to provide funding for local teachers and students. Mouser regularly provides technology grants to the MISD Education Foundation to enhance science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) education and provide opportunities for students to participate.
Ms. Tian Jiping continued, “We are very grateful to Omron for this honor and for their charitable donation to the MISD Education Foundation.”
