1. Product introduction

SCT2230 is a fully integrated high-efficiency synchronous step-down DCDC converter product capable of providing 3A output current. The wide input voltage range is 4.2V to 17V, and the fully integrated high-side power MOSFET, as well as very low Rdson to synchronize the MOSFET, minimizes conduction losses. Features 800 kHz switching frequency, low output voltage ripple, and enables small external inductor and capacitor sizes. The SCT2230 uses an adaptive constant ON-time control architecture to achieve load transient response in step-down applications. The SCT2230 operates in power-saving mode to maintain high-efficiency operation at light loads. It includes complete protection features such as current protection, output undervoltage protection, input undervoltage lockout and thermal shutdown. The SCT2230 requires a minimum number of external components, saving space. And it comes in two packages: SOT563 and TSOT23-6.
