Oushi Classroom | Papapapa, static electricity is coming
The dry season has arrived
The fear of being dominated by static electricity is getting stronger and stronger
Patting colleagues on the shoulders, crackling
I got shocked when I opened the door, pressed the elevator button, and took off my clothes...
I was shocked even though I didn't do anything? This is too much!
It's like a walking Pikachu.
01
Generation of static electricity
Static electricity is an objective natural phenomenon that is generated in many ways, such as contact, friction, induction between electrical appliances, etc. The characteristics of static electricity are long-term accumulation, high voltage, low power, small current and short action time. The human body's own movements or contact, separation, friction or induction with other objects can generate thousands or even tens of thousands of volts of static electricity.
02
The hazards of static electricity
How high is the static voltage? We carry a high static voltage on our bodies and around us, thousands or even tens of thousands of volts. You may not realize it at ordinary times, but when you walk on a synthetic carpet, the static voltage is about 35,000 volts, and when you read a plastic manual, it is about 7,000 volts. For some sensitive instruments, this voltage may be fatal. In the electronics industry, friction charging and human body static electricity are also two major hazards, which often cause electronic and electrical products to operate unstably or even damage.
03
Static Electricity Protection System
Internationally, the equipment used for electrostatic protection is generally referred to as ESD. The original meaning of ESD (Electro-Static discharge) is "electrostatic discharge". It generally includes wearing an anti-static wrist strap, grounding the work surface and grounding the work equipment.
