Introduction
NXP's 5W multi-coil transmitter reference platform is designed for automotive wireless charging applications. The core of the design is NXP's
MWCT1003AVLH
transmitter controller IC. This controller includes all the control functions required for a wireless charging transmitter solution. The solution provides a high-performance wireless charging system while also taking into account the complex working environment of the car. The entire platform uses automotive-grade components and takes into account other important automotive functions to ensure that the system can be seamlessly integrated.
The design complies with the latest Qi specification from the Wireless Power Consortium (WPC) and is certified to WPC-A13. As with all NXP wireless charging solutions, this reference platform supports additional coil types as specified by WPC.
