MATLAB EXPO

On June 8, 2023, NXP's technical experts will deliver a keynote speech titled "Motor Control: Using NXP MBDT for Rapid Design, Development and Deployment" at MATLAB EXPO , introducing NXP's Model-Based Design Toolbox in detail (MBDT), and uses the motor control scenario as an example to demonstrate the deployment and development process of MBDT. Welcome to watch.

Speech summary

在全行业的电气化大趋势下,电机控制系统具有显著的重要地位。快速设计、开发和部署电机控制系统一直是工程师们所追求的目标。

In this talk, we will introduce NXP’s Model-Based Design Toolbox (MBDT), which seamlessly integrates with MATLAB and Simulink for application development on the NXP S32 microcontroller Provides an automated approach.

With an extensive library of automotive math and motor control functions, peripheral driver blocks, MBDT provides multiple simulation modes and code generation capabilities for NXP processors. Through built-in low-level configuration tools, combined with the MBDT-based framework model, MBDT provides "real" MBD development process and experience.

Liao Qiankun

NXP Semiconductors Applications Engineer

Mainly responsible for the development of motor control related applications, familiar with common motor control algorithms, and familiar with the modeling, simulation and testing of related algorithms. Within NXP, he first proposed a framework model based on MBDT to further improve the efficiency of MBDT deployment and realize "real" MBD development. At the same time, he is also committed to promoting the development of MBD technology in more fields. In the past three years, he has continued to create original technical articles and published them on public accounts and Zhihu and other platforms, accumulating more than 100,000 words, 170,000+ reads, and 5,000+ followers. Liao Qiankun holds a master's degree in vehicle engineering from Chongqing University.
