Introduction
The ATECC608B-TFLXTLS is a pre-configured variant of the ATECC608B. The ATECC608B offers enhanced security measures compared to the ATECC608A. These enhancements also apply to the ATECC608B-TFLXTLS. TrustFLEX secure elements are part of Microchip's family of universally configurable secure devices. The device configuration is designed to make secure elements suitable for some of the most common use cases in the IoT market while minimizing the learning and onboarding associated with secure devices.
The ATECC608B-TFLXTLS configuration is almost identical to that of the ATECC608B-TNGTLS. Additional flexibility is provided for the data loaded into the certificate and key slots and the locking options for these slots. The access policies for these slots will be set by the TrustPlatform Design Suite tool before ordering the ATECC608B-TFLXTLS device. In addition, the ATECC608B-TFLXTLS device also has a single-wire interface (SWI) option.
The data sheet recommended today provides slot and key configuration information specific to the ATECC608B-TFLXTLS. This information clearly defines the access policy for each data area slot. It only contains relevant command and I/O operation information. In addition, the application section introduces Microchip software and hardware tools that can help develop applications and their download links.
