Full-screen mobile phones are coming, and domestic hot bending machine equipment is sounding the charge

Smartphones have entered a new stage - the era of full screens. By definition, full screen phones refer to phones with a front screen ratio of more than 80%. They use an ultra-narrow border screen, which has obvious appearance advantages compared to ordinary phones. Representative full screen phones include Sharp's Aquos Crystal launched in 2014, Xiaomi's MIX launched in 2016, and Samsung's Galaxy S8 / S8 Plus launched this year. Especially the curved full screen introduced by Samsung this year, which has brought more severe challenges to the supply chain, the most intuitive of which is the glass cover, and equipment manufacturers are facing new tests.


In the past, the 3D hot bending equipment market has always been monopolized by Japanese and Korean companies (such as Korean DTK and other companies), which makes 3D cover plate manufacturers highly dependent on them. Recently, the domestic company Shenzhen Huachuang Technology Research and Development Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Huachuang) has brought a new 3D hot bending machine to usher in a new era.


It is understood that Huachuangli is an enterprise that completely integrates industry, academia and research. It has established a research and development team led by a professor from Shenzhen University, with professors from Harbin Institute of Technology, postdoctoral fellows from Tsinghua University and masters from Harbin Institute of Technology as the main members. Together, they are engaged in the research and development and manufacturing of automated and intelligent industrial equipment, and have made very good progress.

According to Qin Yunsheng, deputy general manager of Huachuang, the 3D hot bending equipment they launched was completely independently developed. In terms of raw materials, thanks to the good cooperative relationship with Corning and Schott, they can use Corning and Schott glass for debugging.

In addition, this equipment can precisely process high-temperature, high-quality glass and curved glass with a thickness as low as 0.2mm. The key is that Huachuang has an integrated solution for 3D glass from equipment to molds to finished products. It not only develops high-precision 3D hot bending equipment, but also understands the demand pain points of 3D cover products, so it can ensure the needs of enterprises and product quality from a product perspective.

On the other hand, the multi-axis robotic arm pioneered by Huachuang can solve manual problems.

This not only allows the use of robots to automatically load and unload materials, completely solving labor cost and efficiency issues, but also ensures product consistency. More importantly, under the same processing efficiency and yield guarantee, Huachuang's equipment is more practical and reduces capital investment for enterprises.

In addition to introducing the company and equipment, Xu Chao, Director of Technology R&D of Huachuang, also released new materials independently developed by the company on site.

Xu Chao introduced that the independent design from the graphite raw material to the graphite mold is not restricted by the mold market. There are also independently developed ceramic molds, which have the advantages of being less prone to oxidation, longer service life and lower cost compared to traditional graphite molds.

After launching the new products, Huachuang also announced that it would sign purchase contracts for 60 and 30 hot bending equipment from Huachuang respectively with representatives of Shenzhen Han Tangfu Development Co., Ltd. (referred to as "Han Tangfu") and Shenzhen Huaxinrong Technology Co., Ltd. (referred to as "Huaxinrong") Lu Farui and Jia Jianjun at the press conference. The two companies officially reached a cooperation with Huachuang.
