For example, the GK2 series solid-state drive main control chip independently developed by Goke Microelectronics has broken the foreign monopoly, and the Jingmei series GPU chip developed by Jingjia Microelectronics is the first high-performance GPU product in China with completely independent intellectual property rights; at the same time, there is strong support from universities such as the National University of Defense Technology and Central South University. Electronic information, microelectronics and other integrated circuit-related majors in various universities and research institutes can provide more than 3,000 professional talents with bachelor's degrees or above for the development of Changsha's integrated circuit industry.

Walking into the Gokewei in Changsha Economic and Technological Development Zone, media reporters saw young R&D personnel working hard. It is reported that the company has started full operation on the seventh day of the Lunar New Year, and all employees are actively engaged in the intense work.
In the Multimedia Technology Joint Laboratory of Goke Microelectronics, Multimedia Division Manager Liu Jiebing and a colleague are debugging the performance indicators of the fourth-generation set-top box. He said that this product is mainly aimed at rural and remote areas, providing them with free satellite live broadcast services and upgrading video signals from standard definition to high definition.
Liu Jiebing told the media that he has been working hard in the field of "microelectronics" for more than ten years with infinite passion for his career. He is mainly engaged in chip testing and verification, driver development, and the development and certification of complete machine solutions. "I love this industry because it is challenging. Although Changsha currently lags behind coastal areas in all aspects, I am still optimistic about the development of the integrated circuit industry in Changsha."
Liu Yingbiao, chief engineer of the storage division of Goke Micro, introduced that in mid-November 2017, the storage control chip GK2301 launched by Hunan Goke Micro became the first product in China to obtain dual certification from the China Information Security Evaluation Center and the National Cryptography Administration, and it has completely independent intellectual property rights, breaking the long-term monopoly of foreign manufacturers on storage control chips, and has high information security. The chip provides a complete consumer-grade and industrial-grade solid-state storage solution, and is the best choice for client solid-state hard drives such as confidential storage, hard drive replacement, servers, and data centers.
It is understood that Changsha has formed a relatively complete integrated circuit industry chain structure system, and its development prospects are good. In 2017, the output value of key enterprises in the city's integrated circuit industry chain is expected to reach 3.66 billion yuan, and the annual growth rate is expected to reach about 20%.
In 2018, the integrated circuit industry chain will be guided by the principles of "building chains, strengthening chains, supplementing chains and extending chains". By focusing on two key points and carrying out six tasks, we will continuously improve the public service system, financing system and policy system that adapt to the development of the industry, so as to achieve more sound links in the industrial chain, more prominent industrial characteristics, significantly enhanced innovation capabilities, and an initial industrial ecology, achieving an annual growth rate of 20%.
The integrated circuit industry chain carries out work around key points, namely, focusing on strengthening advantages and vigorously developing characteristic integrated circuit design industries; focusing on making up for shortcomings and enhancing the advanced process capabilities of the integrated circuit manufacturing industry. Aiming at the shortcomings of Changsha's weak competitiveness in the field of integrated circuit production and manufacturing, we will make precise efforts to increase investment in the integrated circuit manufacturing industry. We will also actively promote the upgrading and transformation of existing production line technologies, and through cooperation with complete machine companies in the province, strengthen the development of analog processes, mixed digital and analog processes, and micro-electromechanical systems (MEMS) process technologies, especially power management chips, sensors, camera chips, image processing chips and other products, to enhance local service capabilities.
Fu Wenhai, deputy general manager of the multimedia division of Goke Microelectronics, said that Goke Microelectronics has launched a series of chips with core independent intellectual property rights, including decoding chips that support NDS advanced security, H.265 high-definition chips, high-definition security monitoring chips, etc., filling domestic gaps in many fields and replacing imports. "For a long time in the past, the huge memory chip market was almost monopolized by foreign companies. my country's memory chips and main control chips were almost completely dependent on imports, and information security was seriously threatened. Today, Changsha Economic Development Zone is leading the new era with 'smart manufacturing', and the independently developed 'Chinese chip' can eliminate the risk of leaks from the source."
