Design of solid-state pulse modulator based on IGBTBased on the needs of the project construction, a certain type of radar pulse modulator needs to be solidified. In order to achieve the purpose of economical and time-saving, the design and simulation method is adopted. The new power switching device IGBT is used to replace the vacuum device, and a solid-state pulse modulator controlled by a single-chip microcomputer is designed, which overcomes the limitations of the vacuum device widely used in radar pulse modulators. Simulink simulation results show that the modulation waveform and power fully meet the tactical technical indicators of the radar. It is concluded that the designed solid-state modulator can be engineered.
