Abstract: An ultrasonic thickness gauge is designed with the ispMach4000 series low-power complex programmable logic device (CPLD) as the core. Based on the CPLD hardware platform and the idea of modular design, VHDL programming is used to implement the data acquisition and processing module of the ultrasonic thickness gauge. The design has the characteristics of low cost, low power consumption and flexible configuration. Experimental results show that it can effectively improve the measurement accuracy. [Author Abstract]
