As the construction of smart grids is gradually unfolding around the world, the intelligent management of the power distribution system as a user of the smart grid is becoming increasingly important. At present, the user-side power distribution management system will consider the use of a variety of communication technologies to mix and match networks to overcome some inherent deficiencies of existing technologies, including industrial Ethernet, GPRS and CDMA as long-distance communication networks; wireless short-distance communication, carriers, etc. as short-distance communication networks, that is, the communication methods within the last 1 kilometer. ZigBee technology, as an emerging short-distance, low-rate wireless network technology, is a good short-distance communication method. It has many advantages, such as low power consumption, high reliability, and self-organizing network functions, which enable it to have a lot of room for development in short-distance communication. Therefore, the wireless automatic meter reading system based on ZigBee technology has become a hot spot. This article mainly introduces a ZigBee technology wireless module and the application of ZigBee wireless network in factory power distribution management system.
