Abstract: This paper aims at a new type of intelligent communication and positioning system for engineering machinery fleets, with an intelligent monitor based on a 32-bit embedded ARM microprocessor as the core. The various underlying control systems on the vehicle are connected through the CAN field bus and the GPRS wireless communication module is extended. The overall hardware framework and software platform are constructed, and the implementation process is specifically explained to achieve the purpose of remote real-time monitoring of the vehicle.
