This paper takes the clothing style matching part of the online teaching system of ancient Chinese clothing history as an example to introduce the basic methods and implementation paths of virtual reality technology in the field of education. In this software, 3DMAX is first used to create scenes, characters to be dressed, and optional clothing styles. Then, the VRML language is used to set the position, action, space background, space viewpoint, sensor, etc., to generate teaching software that perfectly combines panoramic scenes and clothing style matching interactivity for students to conduct virtual exploration.
