WS2295B is a highly integrated, high-performance current mode PWM converter chip. It is suitable for small and medium power switching power supply devices such as power adapters. In order to reduce standby power consumption and meet higher green environmental protection standards, the chip provides a pulse mode (Burst Mode) function, extremely low startup current and working current. In pulse mode, WS2295B can linearly reduce the switching frequency of the chip under light load or no load conditions, thereby reducing switching losses; the patented technology of no-load energy saving enables WS2295B to easily achieve a standby power consumption of less than 75mw, and make the efficiency better than the requirements of energy efficiency six. WS2295B optimizes the relationship curve between frequency reduction and frequency jitter. When the frequency is reduced, the frequency jitter range will not decrease proportionally with the frequency, so that the EMI of the system can be greatly improved under medium and light loads. In addition, WS2295B has an extremely wide operating voltage range (7.7V-34V), which greatly facilitates the design of the transformer and the compatibility of the system. The built-in synchronous slope compensation circuit of WS2295B prevents the harmonic oscillation that may be generated when the PWM controller works at a high duty cycle. WS2295B has a built-in leading edge blanking function at the current sampling input pin, which can effectively remove the burrs in the current feedback signal. It helps to reduce the number of external components and reduce the overall cost of the system. WS2295B provides a variety of comprehensive recoverable protection modes, including: cycle-by-cycle current limiting protection (OCP), overload protection (OLP), over-temperature protection (OTP), overvoltage protection and clamping of VDD voltage, as well as undervoltage shutdown (UVLO), secondary Schottky short-circuit protection; in order to better protect the built-in MOSFET power tube, the gate drive output voltage is clamped at 13V. WS2295B uses frequency jitter technology and soft switching control technology at the totem pole gate drive output, which can well improve the EMI performance of the switching power supply system. Through optimized design, when the operating frequency of the chip is lower than 20KHz, the audio energy can be reduced to a minimum. Therefore, the audio noise performance can be greatly improved. The WS2295B chip can be used as the best replacement for linear power supply or RCC mode power supply, thereby improving the overall performance of the switching power supply system and effectively reducing system costs. The WS2295B provides a 7-Pin DIP-7 package.
